Nearly 50 years ago, our founder Mike Cesto recognized the need for safety and efficiency in industrial and commercial buildings. What began as a small insulation business, quickly grew into one of the most trusted contracting companies in Calgary and area. With this, our foray into firestopping has become much more than a side project. In fact, the demand for our fire safety services has grown to such an extent that Westcal Canadian Firestop, the sister company to Westcal Insulation LTD, has been established.
Mike Cesto’s expertise, dedication, and industrial experience has since been passed down to his son, Sasha Cesto, who had been with the company since the beginning. Now, with Sasha’s own children Anistasia and Aleksandar joining the company, Westcal is a proud third generation company.
Over the years, a lot has changed. But despite our growth, we still hold the same values as we did when we opened our doors all those years ago. These are the qualities you’ve come to expect with the name Westcal, and those you can continue to count on:
